When we call you, we will ask you to confirm some personal details that we know we're talking to the account holder. This will be information about your account that only you should know, like your remaining credit limit amount, as well as your own contact details. These details are not the details that could be used to make a purchase.
However - you'll know it's us because:
- We will never ask you to disclose any One-Time Passcodes (OTP) - these are the codes you receive via SMS to your device when verifying some purchases and adding new cards to your wallet
- We will never ask you to read out your long card number on the front of your card
- We will never ask you to read out the CVV (the 3 digits on the back of your card)
- We will never ask you over the phone to approve a notification - either for a transaction or for adding a new card to a payment wallet or online account
