A ‘Notice of Sums in Arrears’, regularly referred to as ‘NOSIA’, is a formal letter we need to send you once you have fallen two or more months behind on your credit card payments.
Even if you are already in a payment arrangement with us, we must send you this notice by law, as it sets out important information about the amount that you owe, and the steps you will need to take to avoid long-term damage to your credit record and any further recovery action being taken against you.
We may also be required to send you a ‘Subsequent Notice of Sums in Arrears’ letter every two months for as long as you continue to be overdue to keep you updated on the status of your agreement. If you have already been in touch with us to arrange to repay your outstanding balance, we are sending you this information for your records, and there is nothing further you need to do.
If you have not yet contacted us about your arrears, you should contact us by emailing collections@tymit.com, or calling us on 0808 175 1557 as soon as possible, so we can talk through your individual situation to find an affordable payment plan and get your outstanding balance cleared.
If your circumstances change, and you can no longer keep to the agreed arrangement, please get in touch with us by emailing collections@tymit.com, or call us on 0808 175 1557, and one of our dedicated team members will be happy to talk through your individual situation to find an affordable payment plan and get your outstanding balance cleared.
